So someone you know had a little baby recently, and now you need to find them baby gifts. If you don’t know what kind of gifts you should get for a new baby and the parents, we have lots of ideas! Our ideas will help you get great gifts for the baby and the proud new parents.

Here are our recommendations for baby gifts:

- Personalized baby pillows. Cute baby pillow is a keepsake that the parents, baby and other family members will treasure forever. Get the pillow personalized as well it can be personalized with baby name, birthday, etc.

- Baby picture frames. Who takes the most number of pictures? That’s right, the new parents do that, they take lots of pictures. And its not just when they bring the baby home from the hospital – they continue taking pictures of the baby’s firsts – first smile, first time the baby crawls, first step, etc. And they need lots of picture frames for those pictures.

Give the parents a personalized baby picture frame, something they can use right now to proudly display the latest baby pictures.

- Baby blankets. This is something that the baby needs, and will use for a long time. Sometimes kids use their baby blankets even after they stop being babies. Now you can personalize baby blankets with baby names, and you can find them in lots of different colors, made from many different fabrics.

- Baby jewelry for Moms. Mothers love jewelry, and baby jewelry always has special meaning. Since baby jewelry can be personalized with Mothers and Babys names, this is a keepsake the Mother will surely treasure forever. There are many bracelets, rings and necklaces online that can be personalized with the baby’s name.

- Personalized baby clothes. How about some cute baby clothes for the little one? Give them baby clothing they need lots of clothing anyway, and personalized clothing always has a special meaning.

If you can sew, it will be very cool for you to create the personalized clothes yourself. Otherwise, check out what is offered at different clothing web sites online.

Congratulations on the new bundle of joy in your family, or among your friends. We hope that these gift recommendations will help you pick the perfect personalized baby gift for the little one.

Everybody loves babies. They are cute, cuddly and simple adorable. A baby website is a perfect place to share your happiness with your friends and other people who have been blessed with such wonderful little miracles in their life. Your own experience with small little information about the little one and the products they should use must be there in the baby website.

A baby website must cover anything and everything related to a baby. From brushing yourself for the baby to breastfeeding to baby names, clothes, baby care, and baby food to teaching your baby the sign language-everything should come within a baby website.

Feeding- Getting into a well-structured feeding regime can take several months, with much trial and error. If breastfeeding, the moms face problems in early days, but can get help from nurses and elderly members in the family. Baby food is specifically given to infants between four months to two years. The food comes in multiple varieties and tastes, produced by different manufactures. Again what to feed and what not to feed- is something a new mom should know.

Baby clothes- Do you believe that babies, infants should dress in clothing to reflect their unique personalities. They need lots of dress to wear in every occasion. Are you looking for stylish, fashionable clothes? Some people prefer pink dress for girls and blue for boys. But the bottom line is baby clothes should be soft and easy to wear.

Diapers-Newborn babies go through about 8-10 diapers a day. That means for a new parent, diapers are a big part of your life. Whichever type of diaper parents choose to use, once again practice only comes with the real thing.

Bathing-Newborns pee and poop a lot and it can be a messy time. They need to be covered properly after bath. After two/three months, babies enjoy bathing time with bath toys.

Baby names-It is a very big decision to take for parents. How do you choose the right one? Be creative and give a trendy name.

You can put online baby e-books, guest book, videos, and photos, and many more baby related things in the website. Baby gifts, toys, furniture, clothes etc. should also be included. Blogs should be written on babies.

It’s overwhelming enough to decide on a perfect first name for your baby, but if you’re not considering its effects on your baby’s last name you may be setting him up for future disaster. It’s easy to overlook how the combination of your baby’s first name and last name will work together. Let’s look at a few pointers in this area.

Perhaps the most obvious place to start is using a duplicate name for your baby’s first and last names. William Williams or John Johnson for example. These names may cause some flack for your child going through school or they may provide a way to really set them apart. Mitch Mitchell, for example, was a famous drummer with Jimi Hendrix.

Common words as last names can present problems. My last name is Byrd and I have to think twice about names so my baby doesn’t end up with a silly name. Be especially aware if your last name is slang for something vulgar. You can be sure your child will never live down a name like Richard Johnson once they hit high school.

Next, make sure the first name you pick doesn’t end with the same sound that your last name begins with. For example, when saying Mark Kogan aloud, it sounds like Mark Ogan or Mar Kogan. And John Nolan becomes Jaw Nolan or John Olan. Just a small point to check for once you’re pretty certain on a name.

Also make sure that shortened first names don’t clash with your baby’s last name. Edward Jed will most likely shorten to Ed Jed which has a silly sound to it. The classic prank phone call name Ben Dover is the result of a shortened first name as well.

Any name you choose can be made fun of somehow, but these are just some ways to make sure you avoid the most obvious mistakes. Above all, be sure to say your baby’s whole name outloud so that you can evaluate its entire sound. Good luck finding that perfect name for your baby!

Okay, you only get to do this once so lets get it right. Remember that its not about you! Your little boy or girl is going to have to live with this name for the rest of their life. If they change it on their 18th birthday, you probably did a bad job of naming your baby.

In this article, Im going to take you on a tour of the Internet as I look for baby names. Ill be your guide, so sit back and relax. I know what Im doing here. Trust me.

Before we start, though, no drinking on this tour. It results in baby names like Justin Case, Sandy Castles, Paige Turner, Rusty Hook, Shaunda Lear, Candy Kaine, or others just as bad. As a matter of fact lets start out by searching for what not to name your baby.

So, you want to be original. Great. Remember, your kids gonna be mad when he or she finds out there were much better choices! Ok, thats not bad enough? Well there are websites that make fun of bad baby name choices too. Some quotes from websites about peoples baby name choices.

These are actual questions posted on the Internet about naming babies;

I love this one I once met a lady named Rodana. I think she runs a successful Internet business. In her spare time she destroys Tokyo.

And this one too. I’ve suggested to my sister that she name her little girl to be – Manchester. She’s not sure about it but she’s considering. What do you think? Clever. Like being named Pittsburg or Schenectady. Kid’ll grow up to be beaten to death by Liverpool fans.

We’d kind of like something that sounds good with Mikayla (our 3-year-old). Dear God, they’re tailoring them into box sets!

What about the name skylar or raven? Thanks, 14-year-old-Goth-girl!

What about Bubba for a boy. a great unusual name Since when did your Ozark shack get Internet access?

Do you like the name Alexia? I think its exotic and all 3 of my other girls names begin with an A too. “Though Alexia sounds like a pretty name for a girl… alexia is actually an inability to read, caused by brain damage.” So maybe she should another A name. Something pretty, like Amnesia.

I am not pregnant yet but thinking about names…I just thought of the name Lourdes Solange. This baby will be 75% latina and 15% european …and 10% polyester

…and finally Anyone ever thought about Sierra Joy? I love the name, but husband is less than thrilled with it. But he’ll love the pine-fresh scent!

And for all the geeks, nerds, and Internet junkies out there, yes, the Internet and your computer can conspire to name your baby for you! Try this one for unique baby names. http://www.babyzone.com/babynames/nameinventor.asp I just love the categories, baby boy names, baby girl names, and baby boy or girl names for those parents who want to name the baby before its born and before they know what sex the baby will be.

That website makes up names each time you click the links. Okay, this website doesnt exactly prove that technology is an actual improvement to our lives, but wait! Theres more! This one claims to have 11,000 names from origins all around the world so you’ll surely find exactly what you’re looking for. http://www.babynamesworld.com/names1/name-generator.html
This one is a little better at names that reflect different cultures. http://www.baby-name-generator.com/Names.html But Teutonic names? Are there still people who claim the nationality Teuton?

Okay, now, lets try to get serious about naming that baby. Now this article gives good, sensible advice about choosing baby names. http://www.babyport.info/776.php and if you are still intent on being unique, read this first, http://www.babyport.info/59689.php

If you are gonna have twins, not that I advise it, here is another good article about naming your baby twins. http://www.babyport.info/3647.php

I hope this little tour has helped you with naming your baby and that you have enjoyed the trip. Please look around and make sure you have all of your luggage and babies with you as you leave. Good luck on naming your baby!

It doesn’t have a huge number of names, it doesn’t offer oodles of extras, and some of its meanings are even a bit questionable. There are better books out there.

The Baby Name Wizard

This unusual baby name book really stands out from the crowd. Not simply a huge list of names, The Baby Name Wizard gives detailed information about each baby name in its database. Graphs, lists, and all kinds of fun information are invluded. The only downside to this addicting book is its rather slim list of actual baby names. It doesn’t rank up there with the 50,001 name books, although perhaps you may appreciate the more limited scope. Aside from this, The Baby Name Wizard comes highly recommended.

Cool Names For Babies

This is a fun book that will inject some enjoyment back into your baby naming process. It’s full of left-of-center baby names that will stimulate your thinking and probably lead you down some baby name paths you wouldn’t have thought of. Not all is perfect, of course. Cool Names for Babies lacks a user friendly index and makes it difficult to find a specific name. The coolness of these names is likely to change as time passes since it is (naturally) focused on trends.

Baby Names: A New Generation

This book, as you may glean from its title, is focused on the ever-changing popularity of certain baby names. Want to make sure you aren’t given your child a name that will seem old fashioned? Then this is the book for you. Its forward thinking and pleasing layout will help remove some of the tedium of selecting the perfect name for your child.

Baby Names It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time!

While the birth of a baby is a joyous occasion, there is little doubt that the introduction of a tiny person into a great big world necessitates an amount of work that can be seriously overwhelming. Not to mention the hard labor already undertaken by the female half of any baby-making duo, it all adds up to a draining and emotional time. And it is because of this wearisome emotionality that we can do nothing but throw up our hands at the choices some parents make at this time. Like saddling their beloved with a name that is guaranteed to have their peers point and laugh with enormous glee at some point down the road.

There is so much that a baby needs, and it is only when a child is delivered to a couple that the profundity of a newborns dependence sinks in. I mean youve got to do everything for the kid wash it, feed it, and deal with what youve fed it once it comes out the other end. Thank goodness it cant talk back just yet, even though it tries to compensate for what it lacks in terms of vocabulary with a good solid volume.

But considering the emotional fragility with which a newborn is greeted by his or her parents, a babys inability to quantify its thoughts might not be wholly for the greater good. How many new parents have been induced by absolute fatigue to make shortsighted decisions? Did you really think that baby wasnt going to throw that mush all over the floor as soon as you turned your back? Put this way, perhaps saddling our children with ridiculous names is the least of our worries.

But hang on a second even if you havent had more than two hours sleep in a month, thats no excuse to put the diaper on the wrong end, but lets face it, thats not something that is going to haunt baby for the rest of his or her life. But a poorly chosen name? Now thats going to hurt later. It might be a family legacy, but you know sometimes its a whole lot kinder to hurt old uncle Huberts feelings now than have poor little Hubert coming home from school in tears because even the teacher laughed at his name.

So the lesson to be learned is this: dont fill in the birth certificate until the painkillers have worn off. And better wait until youve had a good nights sleep before choosing a moniker too, just in case your judgment is impaired. Actually, maybe it would be better to let the kid pick his or her own name. You can just call them hey you for the first eighteen years. You never know, it might stick!

The role of parent necessitates the making of many momentous decisions for a beloved person who does not yet have the capability to choose for his or herself. Parenthood is perhaps the most blessed and joyous responsibility of all, as it is fuelled by love and hope for all that may be possible in the future. As parents, we try to give our children the very best of everything, from food and clothing, to education and other opportunities that might expand the worldview of those we love best. But some would argue that the gifts we give our children begin in a way that is at once both smaller and larger, a way that is both subtle and far-reaching. One of the first gifts we give our child is the name we bequeath to them.

Children learn very early to associate their given name with themselves. It is how their parents address them, how they learn to distinguish themselves from others as they proceed into the world. The name we bestow upon our newborn baby is so much more than a collection of alphabet characters it becomes representative of everything we are.

A babys name is a combination of letters and sounds that join together to create the single word we will use to evoke all that we hope our child will become. We have all had the experience of enjoying certain words more than others, of finding that certain sounds resound harshly in our ears. Language is the dividing line between our animal counterparts and ourselves, and is a powerful tool, and so it is important to bear in mind when choosing a name for your baby.

We also invest names with individual meanings, we personalise them to our own situation. They can remind us of relatives or friends, and the characteristics that these loved ones displayed. They can have unconscious or inexplicable connotations, and speak to us positively or negatively with the echo of old associations long since pushed from our awareness.

A childs name should be chosen with great care. A name should be a thing of empowerment, as it carries within the precious burden of identity. A childs experience of his or her name comes largely from parental suggestion, so be sure to choose a name for your baby that is filled with characteristics you admire. Whether or not you believe in such things as numerology or the Kabalarian philosophy, your childs name will undoubtedly be a force in their life. Think deeply, and choose well.
