Your best friend just called you and told you the good news – she is pregnant! After you get over the initial shock and excitement, your next move is probably to begin planning a shower for her. There are many things to think about when planning a shower for someone – the guest list, decorations, games, refreshments – the list goes on and on.

Although most everyone loves a surprise party, you want to consider asking the mom-to-be’s opinion when planning her shower. There may be certain people she would like to invite and certain things she wants (such as a certain theme for the shower). Plus, at this point in her pregnancy, the mom-to-be may be freaking out about the baby’s impending birth, so another surprise might not be what she needs a the moment.

Place

Find out a good date and time for the shower as well as where she would like to have it. The location of the shower may depend on the size of the guest list. If you are only inviting a few friends, you should volunteer to have it at your house if possible. Some people who have larger showers may need to find another location such as a church, a conference room at work, a restaurant (in a closed off area), or a country club. If you are having the shower during months with pretty weather, you might even consider having it outside, although you should always consider the comfort of the mom-to-be.

Guest List

The guest list for a shower is very important. You want to include all the important people in your friend’s life. A great way to decide on the list is to ask your friend to meet you somewhere nice for a relaxing lunch and while there, you can go over the list. Or, maybe treat her to having a pedicure and you can talk about it while you have your nails done. Just be sure to have her bring her address book so you can get the addresses you need. You should let her decide whether it is going to be a girl’s only shower or a shower for everyone. If she would like the father-to-be there, he may be more comfortable with other men around, so consider inviting her brothers, father, stepfather, uncles and any other men she would like to have there. Since she probably has a lot of her mind, try and help her think of people she would like to invite from places such as work, high school, college, or church.

Registry

The mom-to-be may already be registered somewhere, but if not, try to encourage her to do so. She can register online at many places such as Wal-Mart and Target, so she doesn’t even have to leave home to do it. This will give the guests a good idea of what she needs and prevent her from getting three strollers. Be sure to include her registry information in the invitations for guests.

Invitations

Once you get the guest list set, you will need to choose invitations. Again, these depend on the size of the shower. If you are only having a few people, you may want to purchase invitations at a local party store and hand address each envelope. However, if you are having a larger shower, you may want to order engraved invitations from somewhere that will do all the addressing for you. No matter what you decide, be sure to involve the mom-to-be in the process of choosing.

Itinerary

Once the invitations go out, you need to plan the actual shower. Again, consult the mom-to-be on this. Do you want to do a theme for the party decorations? If you know if it is going to be a boy or a girl, this is a great idea. If you don’t know what it is going to be, you can always go with a generic theme like Disney or Blues Clues. Some people like showers that include games and some do not, so you will need to ask her about this. You will also need to decide what type of food to serve. You may want to serve a full meal, appetizers or just cake and desserts. Again, take the mom-to-be into consideration. If she has been having awful heartburn, you may not want to serve spicy entrees. Also, some pregnant women develop gestational diabetes and may be on strict diets. And don’t forget drinks – do you want punch, soda, or tea?

Miscellaneous things to think about include keeping tabs on how many people plan to attend, photography (if you have a digital camera, this works great), assigning someone to write down gifts and names, and cleaning up afterwards. Don’t forget to figure out how the mom-to-be will get all her gifts home. If the father-to-be is there, he can load and unload stuff, but if not, you may want to assign someone to follow her home with the gifts or volunteer to bring them over later yourself.

There is a lot of planning to a baby shower, but in the end, your friend will enjoy it and love you for having one for her.

Planning a baby shower – Why Perfect Is Not Always Best

Why not get excited when we hear the good news where congratulations are in order for the future baby? News of a pregnancy means the holding of a baby shower party which answers our question to why all the excitement.

Planning baby showers can be fun and fulfilling for all who participate in organising the event. Party celebrations can have a touch of elegance or humour. The choice is yours. Go wild with your imagination when planning your baby shower, in other words be creative and by doing this you either cut costs or incur them. The important factor is to make this an occasion not to be forgotten.

Top on the list of priorities is to have this day stay in every ones thoughts for a long to come and you can do this by planning ahead. If unhurried less mishaps.
Baby Showers are held as early as into the seventh month of the pregnancy. Choosing the perfect location where you are to celebrate this joyous event will be easy as long as it is all done in advance. This will ensure no disappointment with securing dates for the venue/hall you had in mind.

Remember timing is important, people with invites may have other commitments like work or babies of there own that need tending too. So set the time/date of the baby shower to coincide with other folks schedules if possible.
Guest invitations need to be sent at least three weeks prior to the event. Compliment the invites with the theme of the baby shower party. Double check that all the necessary information is printed onto the cards e.g. date time where and when as this is very important and can be quite easily overlooked with all the excitement. Be creative with your invitations because if they are a mess they wont impress
Liven up the party with games that everyone can take part in, do a little research into what games you feel will go down well with the guests.

The incredible edibles are a hit when planning your baby shower party. Consider making a pot of broth. Another easy option and cost effective one is a running buffet a delight to the eye as well as appetizing. Tasty goodies like sandwiches, sausage rolls, muffins, chicken drumsticks, cheese cubes will assure guest satisfaction. Dont forget to place a baby shower centrepiece on the table.

Remember when planning a perfect baby shower is that perfect is not always the best way. Reasons why, if your choice of invitations were word perfect and all the decorations were eye catching along with the perfect choice of food that filled the bellies of all. Then prepare your self for the worst where perfection gave reason to the guests who attended to forget why they were invited in the first place.

Initial enthusiasm in after school activities tends to wane after the
first excitement is over. This is but natural. The trick is to keep up the
hard work even after this. How do you keep your child motivated? This is
of particular importance when the child goes in for educational after
school programs.

Make the career-academics connection early on:
Let your child understand how important studies are. Let him know that
an excellent career is wholly dependent on wholesome learning. To develop
his interest in studies, plan family activities that are connected with
his studies. Emphasize the real-world connection to academics whenever
possible.

Set goals:
Let your child know, through example, that hard work will be rewarded. If
your child believes that achievement is a natural by-product of effort, he
is more likely to put in hard work. Such children are also less likely to
drop out of programs and college at a later stage.

Reward success:
When a child achieves something, it is necessary to praise his hard work.
Positive reinforcements enhance confidence and increase self-esteem.
Conversely, beware of criticism. It can ruin the frail ego of children and
play havoc with their minds.

First thing which comes to mind hearing the four magical words, Were having a baby? is of course a baby shower party.
The baby shower party is a great way of expressing the importance of the event as in a very perfect manner Congratulates, the expectant parents and also conveys Were happy for you, or Best Wishes. Baby shower party is sharing of happiness among the expected parents, Friends and their relatives.

Baby shower parties are organized usually at the last months of pregnancy, hosted by close friends or relative, where the main aim lies to boost the parents-to-be excited for the future member of the family. To make the baby shower party a memorable event, it requires careful planning to ensure one has a great time at the party. Though there not much rules to follow for a baby shower party, but the following tips might also be of great help.

Choosing the right place

Keeping the expected mothers health in mind, mostly baby shower parties are conducted at the parent-to-bes house. Where guests find themselves more comfortable at home, which usually among closet friends and family members. If the weather permits baby shower parties can also be organized outdoors, wherein a barbecue party or a party at the local park can add-on to the excitement of the expected parents.

Though organizing a baby shower in a reserved secluded area like bar or restaurant might be costly, but it is of less complications as the decoration, food and drinks with the post-party arrangements are already been taken care of.

Choosing he partys theme

Re-creating the mood of the expectant parents with the help of a theme to decorate the venue appropriately according to the taste of the expectant parents, which can be their favorite hangouts or movies. Or the recreation of their honeymoon spot, can be easy and a great idea.

As the whole idea is to welcome the baby, a childish atmosphere using bright colors and cartoon characters depending on the babys gender can be created.

Finalizing the menu

A lot depends upon what time the event to be held and the taste of the guests. If in case a party is thrown at the lunch or the dinnertime, usually heavier meals will be served. Whereas in most of baby shower parties the host usually serves pastries, finger food and other bake foods for convenience.

Designing a fun program

Just to refresh the guests child hood memories conducting fun games such as dum-charades would be a great idea, which is usually contrary to people beliefs for a baby shower party to be limited to mingling around eating, drinking and gift giving.

Creating the guest list and send out invitations.

As the baby shower parties are the parents events and not the host, so the choice of the people also kept in mind before hosting the party. Where list of closet friends and family members of the expectant parents is prepared with their approval to avoid any embarrassing mistakes.

Homemade invitations would be a good choice and give a personal touch, though ready-made baby shower invitations are readily available in the market.

Just to be organized, prepare a final list of attendees a few days before the baby shower. Make sure the invitation reaches the guests two or four weeks ahead giving them time to fix their schedule. The baby shower invitation would consists of date, time, place, attire preferred, gift registry, if any, the hosts contact numbers for RSVP.

Pregnancy is always an exciting time. You are busy thinking about a thousand things – what sex the baby will be, what name to choose, how to decorate the nursery, etc. But, many of your friends probably have one thing at the top of their priority list – your baby shower. Baby showers are a great time to get together with friends and celebrate the upcoming birth and all the excitement that goes with that.

When the appropriate time comes, you will probably be approached by at least one friend about a baby shower. This may be your best friend from high school or the girlfriend you ran around with while still single. You may even be approached by relatives who want to throw a shower for you. Some people have multiple baby showers – one thrown by family members, one thrown by friends and one thrown by coworkers. No matter who throws the shower for you, you will need to think about whom to put on the guest list. Chances are, your aunt, best friend or coworker are not going to know everyone you would like to invite, so she is going to need a little help from you.

First, you will need to decide if you think you are going to have more than one shower. If you hear rumors of a family shower, you probably do not want to invite family members to your “friends” shower. If you have coworkers that are also close friends, you do not want to invite them to your “friends” shower only to find out you are having a work related shower as well. So keep your ears open to try to find out as much as possible to avoid duplicate invitations. You can even ask people you are close to if you feel comfortable enough and explain to them why you are asking. It will not be the worst thing if Aunt Silvia has to tell you to hold off on inviting your best friend to the family shower “just because.”

Be sure to ask the shower host how many people can attend the shower. It may depend on where the shower is being held. Some people have their showers at their church so there is plenty of room and seating, but many people have them in their homes, so there may be a limited amount of space. You also do not want to overload your shower host’s budget. She may be thinking you will invite fifteen people and you do not want to show up with a list of a hundred people. Remember that the shower invitations, decorations, and refreshments are going to cost your host money and you want to be respectful of her generosity in offering to throw you a shower.

Once you have an idea of what type of baby showers you are going to have, then you need to sit down and write out a list. You may want to jot down names on a sheet of paper before you start looking up addresses. You may even want to ask some other people whom you should invite. With all you have going on, chances are you may forget someone, so it will be useful to have another person helping you. You do not want to hurt anyone’s feelings by unintentionally leaving them off the guest list.

After you get your list set, you will need to start gathering addresses. Actually giving your names and addresses to the host may best be done on the computer if you are comfortable using it. Many people already keep names and addresses in online address books, so giving your host your shower list may be as simple as printing the address list and checking the names of those you want to invite. If you do not have your addresses online, you can type them into a spreadsheet to give to your shower host. An online copy of addresses may come in handy depending on whether she is going to have addresses printed on envelopes, print address labels for the envelopes, or hand write the addresses on each envelope. No matter how she is going to do it, having a nice, clear copy of all names and addresses will be beneficial.

Finally, if you forget someone important on your list and feel badly about it, invite them out to a special one-on-one lunch with you. It will not be the same as being at the shower, but can help mend hurt feelings from being left out.

Have fun determining your baby shower list. Call a few of your closest friends, grab your old address books and have a good time reminiscing as you jot down names.

Parents at times feel uneasy reading to their children. It could be for numerous different reasons. Perhaps they don’t take to reading themselves. Possibly their reading skills are not the best. Or maybe they feel like they have to produce comical faces and make un-natural sounds in order to read a little one’s book. So for fear of embarrassment, they pass on the reading assignment.

There are numerous ways to share books with your little one. Your reading skills do not have to be top notch. Just the one-on-one time alongside your little one is making a difference to them. The closeness and sharing of stories will pay off for years to come.

You want to try and read to your little one every day. You need to radiate an excitement about reading a story together so that your child thinks of reading as fun. There are a few ways to make reading fun. You can talk or sing about the pictures in the book. You don’t have to read it word for word. Occasionally it is more intriguing to add your own twist to a story. Talk about your own relatives or friends and add their names to the story.

Ask questions about the pictures in the book. Let your little one create their own take on the story. They may see the pictures speaking to them a bit differently than what the words depict. This will open up a vast dialogue and a chance for you to elaborate on things in the pictures and assist your child in discovering the world we live in.

Show your children the cover of the book and let them recite to you what they believe the book is about. If they are too young to do so, point out certain items in the pictures to help them learn the names of the characters that might be in the pages that follow.

Let your little one turn the pages of the book for you. This will help them interact with the book and get familiar with how books are laid out.

Children have a short attention span, so don’t get discouraged if they lose interest before you are finished reading the book.

Remember to have fun with reading, and your child will pick up on this positive reinforcement of reading.

Preparing for a baby is a very busy time. You want to let everyone know how excited you are about your new addition. There are lots of questions when it comes to birth announcements. For a first time parent, with so much already on the plate, birth announcements can fall by the wayside, but they need not. Ordering and sending birth announcements are now easier than ever.

Boy or Girl birth announcement. The first task is to choose which birth announcement design will be used. If the sex of the baby is known, choose a gender appropriate style. Shades of blue work well for boys, and pink hues are perfect for baby girls. If the sex of the baby is not known, there are many non-gender specific styles to choose from. In either case, the parents should choose a style that reflects their relationship and their own unique style.

Many options are available for wording in birth announcements, just as in engagement announcements. Sometimes family situations are far from traditional and call for appropriate wording. Sometimes the grandparents want to be a part of the announcement. Who came blame them for wanting to be a big part of their first grandbabys life?

When it comes to the list of the recipients, it is totally up to the parents. Announcements should be sent to immediate family and close friends who are a part of the parents life and who will be a part of the new babys life. Parents may also choose to send birth announcements to colleagues and out-of-town family as well.

When to send the birth announcements can be a delicate issue. They should be sent immediately following the birth. However, for some new parents with all the other things that must be done, sending birth announcements can get put off. As long as the announcements are sent within a few weeks of the birth, it will be fine. People are very understanding of all the things new parents must do.

Sending a birth announcements is a great way to show appreciation and respect to everyone who has helped the couple to become a family. It is a way to be creative and show how the relationship has grown or changed since marriage. And it is also a great way to let friends and family know how important they are to the parents, and how important they will be in the life of the new baby.

Baby Shower Planning: Tips, Advice, And Ideas For A Successful Shower

Planning a baby shower is the perfect way of expressing Congratulations, or Were happy for you, or Best wishes when a newborn has been added to the family.

Aimed at further boosting the parents-to-bes excitement for the future member of their family, the baby shower is usually hosted by a close friend or relative, at any time during the last months of the pregnancy.

Just like any other party, a baby shower requires careful planning to ensure that it will go as smoothly as possible, and be memorable for everyone. Although there are no rules cast in stone in preparing for a baby shower, there are some helpful tips to follow to help the host organize every aspect of the event.

1) Decide on the location.

Most baby showers are held at the parent-to-bes house, since the expectant mothers health needs to be considered. It is recommended for small, intimate parties, with only the closest friends and family members. Guests also tend to be more comfortable if the partys setting is at home.

If the expectant parents love the outdoors, a barbecue party at their garden, or a local park may also be an option. Naturally, the weather must be considered baby shower does not literally mean soaking the guests in the rain.

For less complications, the host may reserve a secluded area in a restaurant or bar. It may be more costly, but at least the decoration, food and drinks, as well as the post-party cleanup will already be taken care of.

2) Choose the partys theme.

For easier decoration ideas, a theme may be decided upon. Consider the expectant parents favorite movies or hangouts. Another option is to decorate the party site by re-creating the place where they had their honeymoon, such as a cruise ship, or Paris-inspired caf.

Since the party will also be a celebration of the future baby, a childish atmosphere may also be considered. Choose cartoon characters, bright colors, and other designs depending on the babys gender.

3) Finalize the menu.

The partys menu will depend upon the time of the event. In most baby showers, the host serves finger food, pastries and other baked goods for convenience. However, if the event will be held during lunch or dinner time, heavier meals will naturally be served. Alcoholic drinks may also be prepared, depending on the guests preference.

4) Design a fun program.

Contrary to what most people believe, a baby shower is not only limited to mingling around, gift giving, eating and drinking. Fun games may also be included, such as charades, or those which will bring back the guests childhood memories. Remember that the main point is to make sure everyone will have a good time, and various games will surely liven up the event.

5) Create the guest list and send out invitations.

Prepare a list of the expectant parents closest friends and family members. Make sure to seek their approval before sending out invitations, to avoid any embarrassing mistakes later. Bear in mind that its the parents event, and not the hosts, so their choice of people should matter the most.

Ready-made baby shower invitations are readily available in gift shops and craft stores. However, homemade invitations may also be used to provide the hosts personal touch.

Send out invitations out two to four weeks before the party to give time for the guests to fix their schedule. Baby shower invitations follow the same format as any other invitation it indicates the date, time, place, attire preferred, gift registry, if any, the hosts contact numbers for RSVP. Just to be organized, prepare a final list of attendees a few days before the baby shower.

How can I motivate my child to study and get good grades? To do his homework? To succeed in school, so that he can go to the best college? To go to college? To practice playing the piano? How can I motivate my child to put in the effort needed to achieve his own goals?

What parent does not want to see their child shine, succeed and achieve? What parent doesn’t want to see their child happy? We want to be proud of our child, enjoy his success.

I will never forget the day. My son participated in the science faire, and after winning the first place in the local science fair, was sent to participate in the California State Faire. In Los Angeles, thousands of children participated. Children and parents prepared for this events for a whole year, or even longer. Looking around me, I see teams bringing in their huge project boards. Excited parents accompanying their children, carrying their children’s projects. An atmosphere of excitement everywhere. I felt honored just to be there, observe my son participate.

After all the efforts that went into this event, now it was the time for the award ceremony. Many thousands of people – participants, parents and guests, sitting in a stadium, watching. Now it is time for “our” category. First the “honorable mention” winner was called to the stage. Then – the 3rd place, 2nd place… and first place. It’s my son’s name. Can you imagine how I felt? I think that I practically took off and floated in the air. I remember saying “It is a good feeling”. And people around me – congratulating me, participating in the joy, I heard one man say; “I bet it is”.

This is the culmination of what we want. This wonderful feeling is what we want for our children and for ourselves. But how do we achieve this? How do we get our children to apply themselves? How do we get our children to understand what actions they need to take now for their future success?

4 key thing contribute to our child’s motivation:

1. Importance and inspiration: The goal has to be an inspiring goal to your child, and has to feel that it is important for him to achieve the goal.

2. Possibility: The child has to know and feel that it is possible for him to achieve the goal. If the child has doubt that he can achieve the goal, or thinks that it is impossible, there is little chance that he will work towards the goal and apply himself.

3. Acknowledgment and appreciation, reward: It is easier to keep a child motivated when offering a tangible reward. Knowing that achieving the goal will meet with a tangible form of acknowledgment, appreciation and reward, will add this extra drive.

4. Persistence. The route towards any worthwhile goal includes some minor set-backs and disappointments. The child needs to learn to get up, brush himself off, and get right back on the horse.

When a child knows that a goal is important, feels that it is possible for him to achieve it, and is offered an incentive to work towards the goal, the chances are that he will be motivated to put in the effort needed to achieve the goal. Add to it persistence, and the results are as much as guaranteed.
Importance:

As parents, we always want our child to work towards a goad that inspires him. Help your child see the possibilities. Help your child dream big.

Don’t wait until your child is in high school to start thinking about ways to achieve that. Would you like your child to get a good education, to succeed in school? Start early on. Encourage your child to do well in school. Tell your child stories about students who succeeded in school and their achievements that came as a result of this success. Explain what the advantages are, of getting a good education. Why is it worth it to make great efforts to get a good education? The key is to get your child to see the opportunity for himself. If your child gets the idea that it is important for you that he gets a good education and succeeds in school, you have missed the mark. You want your child to understand why it is important for him to do all these things.

I always told my children: when you get education, when you study, you invest in yourself. In addition to the doors that will open to you as a result of getting education, you become more knowledgeable. More intelligent. You become wiser. YOU.

Make sure your child hangs out with friends who are successful in school. When your child is young, it is easy to choose his friends. Later your child will choose his own friends. In order to have some control over this, do your best to get your child into a good school, and in that good school, into the honors programs. Children have a tendency to adjust themselves to their environment, and sometimes a healthy competition develops, which encourages the children to put in more effort.

One tool that mothers have used throughout the ages, is repetition. It is not enough to have one conversation with your child, explaining the value of applying themselves. You have to put together a “plan of attack”. Prepare interesting reading material and movies about some role models. Provide biographies of people of great achievements. Research theater performances about role models, and take your child to watch them. Introduce successful people to your child. Do you have accomplished, educated people among your friends? Ask them to meet your child and talk about their success and how they achieved it. Have conversations with your child about his future, his goals, what does he want to be when he grows up? Repeat the idea you are trying to introduce to your child, in many different ways.

Possibility:

How do we bring our child to believe in himself? Affirmations are a very effective tool. Write down some affirmations that you think will best encourage and inspire your child. For example: “you are very smart and talented”. “You learn very fast”. “You have an excellent memory”. “You can do it”. It has been shown that affirmations are most effective when repeated 3 times. Choose one affirmation for a day and repeat it at least 3 times during the day. Can you get your partner to cooperate and do the same? The more people you can get to repeat the affirmation, the better the result. Have your child repeat the affirmation himself – at least 3 times.

Can you imagine how your child will feel, if he hears from everyone that day how smart and talented he is? Can you imagine the smile on his face? Do you think that there is any chance in the world, that he will not be encouraged?
Acknowledgment, appreciation, reward:

A close relative of the word “motivate” is “encourage”. What comes to your mind when you think of the word “encourage”? The thing that comes to my mind, is praise. All of us, adults as well as children, respond well to praise, and feel encouraged when we receive praise. If you want to encourage your child to succeed, praise him and celebrate every action that leads in the right direction. Every small achievement. Most of us (including our kids) tend to be self judgmental. We criticize ourselves, and any small set back often seems like a serious failure. Your child will feel encouraged if his efforts are appreciated, and achievements are acknowledged.

Praise on the way to achieving the goal is important. In addition, making sure the child knows the rewards for achieving the goals will be significant. Determining what the rewards is, depends on you. You are the only one who can determine what is affordable, realistic for you, and very desirable for your child. The reward has to be age appropriate. In his article: Incentive plans for gifted, but unmotivated kids, Wayne Fujita has a few good suggestions.

Persistence:
Persistence is to a great degree a learned trait. Our children need to learn persistence, they need to learn that if we suffer a set back, we don’t give up. Instead, we increase our efforts. Who can teach them that, if not us?

An effective tool to teach persistence, is story telling. Story telling can take the form of a book, a movie, a discussion. There are many inspiring books and movies available about people who persisted and achieved, against all odds. Keep your eyes open, and when you find an inspiring story, share it with your child.

Holding discussions with your child, is also very effective. When your child suffers a temporary set back, it will help him if you can put it in perspective for him. Knowing that a set back is minor, takes some judgment. Good Judgment is often a result of experience, and obviously children and young people need our help to develop good judgment. Explain to your child that this is just a minor, temporary set back. Help your child learn the lesson necessary to learn from this, and concentrate on preparing for the upcoming success. Encourage your child to concentrate on the goal, instead of any small set back on the way.

Just like parenting, inspiring and motivating our children is a life long job. If you start at an early age, put together a “plan of attack”, use the “tools of the trade” and add a healthy amount of love, the results will come. Satisfaction is guaranteed.

Baby Shower Invitations Is Your Way The Right Way

The fun and excitement begins before any baby shower party plans are finalised, how you ask. As soon as the person invited receives their invitation all hell breaks loose. To be on the receiving end of an invitation to a baby shower sends a signal to say good times are coming.
Guests treasure this moment where they feel special in being asked to join in the celebration of the new born on the way. Therefore the interest taken in the invitation will be similar to that of a forensic search where every little detail on the invite will be checked out, this is why baby shower invitations have to be right.

Baby shower invites are gladly kept as keepsakes so give your guests an invitation they will want to frame and keep forever.

Selecting the right invitation for your baby shower can prove to be just as much of a challenge as the planning of the whole event.

Themes for baby showers are very rewarding to the eye in style and design with hundreds to choose from. Sailing boats for little boys and dollies for girls. All these are very popular picture themes used on baby shower invites. You may have plans to keep the theme behind the baby shower a mystery, if so a photo of a baby surrounded by cuddly toys is the best way to keep it a secret. Please do not place a picture of a girl and boy because imaginations may just run wild?

If you have decided on a theme for the baby shower invitation even better as guests may want join in the fun by dressing up in a costume that suits the baby shower setting.

Important factors when writing your invites is to make sure to add the guests name, this may sound silly but can easily be overlooked. Where and when the event will take place the contact number of the host and gender of baby if known. In abundance are companies that specialise in baby shower invitations. You will be amazed to see how many designs and styles there are to choose from.

Usually about two months before the birth of the baby is when baby showers are celebrated. Preparations take place well in advance sometimes as early as the announcement of the pregnancy. These events are normally arranged by close friends and family. If this occasion is to be a memorable one then plan carefully. A sure way of guaranteeing remembrance is to celebrate the baby shower in a unique way; you can do this by getting the words right on the baby shower invitation.

Wording usually is in the form of nursery rhymes or quotes, to be in a jolly mood at the time of sending the invites will help express your feelings thus implementing intimacy in your message to a true friend.

A picture paints a thousand words but it is what it says that matter.

1 Please come to my party for future little feet that pitter patter and if you can not come it does not matter.

2 Please come to my party for future little feet that pitter patter. AS LONG AS YOU ARE THERE THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS.

Unique choice of words of your own is the best way in making your baby shower extra special. How on earth can a person other than your self know what it is you want to say, by doing it your way this occasion will never be forgotten.
